29/04/2020 (Agence Europe) – The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on the evening of Tuesday 28 April made official Colombia’s accession as its 37th member, the end point of a process that began in 2013 and during which the Andean country has gradually brought its legislation and policies into line with the organisation’s standards (see EUROPE 12030/10). Colombia is the third Latin American country to join the OECD, after Mexico and Chile. Costa Rica, which has reached the final stages of the process, will be the fourth. (MB)
