Covid-19, construction sector calls for urgent European measures

30/03/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European associations representing the construction sector (FIEC, EBC, CPE, CECE, Housing Europe, UIPI, ERA, RICS, EuropeOn, GCPEUROPE, ECCE, BuildEurope, EDA, UNIEP, EFCA) sent an open letter to the European Commission on Monday 30 March calling for a series of urgent measures to support them in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic. In particular, they call for the publication as soon as possible of health safety guidelines, measures to facilitate trade on the internal market for construction goods and, above all, a massive support and recovery programme for as many players in the sector as possible.
