28/02/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission and the UK Government published on Friday 28 February the terms of reference for the negotiations, which will open on Monday 2 March in Brussels, on the future EU/UK relationship. Both sides detailed the timetable for the rounds of talks (2 or 3 days) until May, alternating between Brussels and London, which will start on 2 March, 18 March, 6 April, 27 April and 13 May. Discussions will be held in English only and parties wishing to have a French translation will have to bear the costs. A dozen thematic negotiating groups will conduct these discussions in parallel, at least initially, including those on trade, fisheries, transport, energy, police and judicial cooperation, and mobility and social coordination.
