Member States' ambassadors give green light to EU/Vietnam trade agreements

26/02/2020 (Agence Europe) – Member States' Ambassadors to the European Union, meeting on Wednesday 26 February in the Committee of Permanent Representatives (Coreper), approved without discussion the EU/Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and Investment Protection Agreement (IPA) already confirmed by the European Parliament (see EUROPE 12424/3) on 12 February. The EU Council is expected to adopt its decision on the conclusion of the agreement at the ministerial meeting on trade on 12 March. (HD)
