Renewables provided 21% of energy used for heating and cooling in EU in 2018

12/02/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 11 February, the latest figures from Eurostat, the EU's statistical office, revealed that in 2018 renewables accounted for 21% of the total energy used for heating and cooling in the European Union (excluding the UK).
