European Parliament wants to set up a British-European Parliamentary Assembly

12/02/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 11 February, the German Chairman of the EPP Group in the European Parliament, Manfred Weber, confirmed that he wanted to co-sign a letter from the President of the institution, David Sassoli, calling for the establishment of a British-European Parliamentary Assembly. “The United Kingdom has become a non-Member State. Now we need to find platforms that allow us to work together, as we do with the rest of the world”, Mr Weber said....
