European Parliament should adopt its position on Just Transition Fund before summer
Brussels, 12/02/2020 (Agence Europe)

The European Parliament's timetable for the Just Transition Fund, for which Manolis Kefalogiannis (EPP, Greece) is rapporteur (see EUROPE B12418A22), is being clarified and Parliament is expected to adopt its position before the summer, unless a conflict of competences arises between the parliamentary committees.

According to our information, a first debate in the Committee on Regional Development (REGI) is scheduled for 19 February. A draft report is expected to be tabled in March. The...
