EU Council adopts its position on review of General Data Protection Regulation

21/01/2020 (Agence Europe) – The EU Council formally adopted its position on the review of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on Tuesday 21 January as an 'A' item of the Ecofin Council. The Commission must submit a report on the evaluation and review of the regulation to the European Parliament and the EU Council by 25 May 2020, taking into account the positions of the co-legislators.
