Agreement to be reached in Council of EU on revision of Motor Insurance Directive

Member States’ ambassadors to the European Union (Coreper) are expected to adopt without discussion on Wednesday 18 December a political agreement in principle (‘general approach’) on the proposed revision of the Motor Insurance Directive to strengthen compensation for road accident victims in a cross-border context (see EUROPE B12026A6).
