Finnish Presidency of Council provides an update on work on post-2020 CAP

05/12/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 4 December, the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the EU published its progress report on the proposals for the post-2020 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). On 16 December, this report will be submitted to the EU’s Agriculture Ministers (see EUROPE 12382/12). The Finnish Presidency also published editorial suggestions on the texts (strategic plans, horizontal regulation and regulation on the common organisation of the market). The progress report reviews the topics discussed in the Council and at technical level in recent months (new implementation model, green architecture...)
