21/11/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European People's Party (EPP), meeting on Thursday 21 November in Zagreb, elected its ten new vice-presidents. The Bulgarian Mariya Gabriel (442 votes), the German David Mcallister (440), the Irish Helen McEntee (430), the Austrian Johannes Hahn (383), the Dutch Esther de Lange (355), the Italian Antonio Tajani (354), the Romanian Siegfried Mureșan (331), the French Franck Proust (298), the Portuguese Paulo Rangel (294) and the Finnish Petteri Orpo (278) were elected. On the other hand, the Slovakian Ivan Štefanec and the Cypriot Avérof Neofýtou, who received 262 and 242 votes respectively, did not garner enough votes. (SP)
