Globalisation Adjustment Fund, EU Council adopts emergency measures in event of a no-deal Brexit

24/10/2019 (Agence Europe) – Ministers of the EU Member States adopted on Thursday 24 October the amended regulation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund to introduce emergency measures in the event of a no-deal Brexit. As a reminder, the objective of the proposal is to support redundant and self-employed workers whose activity has ceased as a result of economic disruption caused by a possible withdrawal from the EU by the United Kingdom without agreement.
