18/10/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 16 October, at a meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (Coreper I) (see EUROPE 12351/19), France made it clear that it wanted the issue of fair competition in the field of posting to be taken into account in the interinstitutional negotiations (trilogues) on the regulation for the coordination of social security systems. In this respect, it referred to its proposals made at the beginning of the month (see EUROPE 12347/5). The first interinstitutional meeting will be held on Tuesday 22 October in Strasbourg from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. (PH)
