Energy statistics ‘pocketbook’ is published

26/09/2019 (Agence Europe) – Since 2013, renewable energy has been the leading source of electricity in the EU and, in 2017, the EU’s gross inland consumption and greenhouse gas emissions were 8.8% and 16.4% lower than in 2005, whilst EU GDP increased by 15.8%.
