Slovakia on verge of ratifying CETA free trade agreement with EU

26/09/2019 (Agence Europe) – The Slovak Parliament approved on Wednesday 25 September the conclusion of the CETA, the comprehensive economic and trade agreement with Canada, confirmed a diplomatic source to EUROPE. Presidential ratification, which is almost automatic, is expected within two weeks, bringing the number of Member States that have ratified the Trade Treaty to 14 (see EUROPE B12285A6).
