Closure of proceedings concerning Slovak rail company ZSSK

25/07/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission closed on Thursday 25 July, the proceedings against ZSSK concerning competition law issues. Last 25 September, the institution sent the company a statement of objections, informing it that it had obstructed an inspection by providing it with incorrect or incomplete information in the context of an investigation conducted by the institution into anti-competitive practices (see EUROPE 12103/13). After examining the evidence, in particular ZSSK's reply to the above-mentioned letter, the Commission decided to terminate the proceedings. (LT)
