Luxembourg imposes unjustified conditions on non-resident cross-border students seeking financial assistance

Luxembourg imposes requirements on non-resident students wishing to apply for financial aid, which are too strict, the Court of Justice of the European Union concluded on Wednesday 10 July in a judgment (C-410/18) concerning the situation of a student residing in France, on the border with Luxembourg, and whose father had worked for 17 years in the Grand Duchy.
