Member States authorise Commission to negotiate a new agreement with Seychelles

11/07/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 11 July, EU ambassadors approved a proposal authorising the Commission to negotiate a new Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreement with Seychelles. This decision has yet to be formally adopted by the EU Council next week. The existing Partnership Agreement is applicable until 1 November 2019 and its last protocol is applicable until 17 January 2020.
