Eurogroup. * Training at Nineteen: - Discussion on the budgetary situation in the euro area in preparation for the draft budget plans and recommendations for the euro area in 2020 - Greece: examination of the report of the third mission under the post-programme enhanced surveillance framework, following the parliamentary elections in the country - Spain: report of the eleventh post-programme surveillance mission - Italy: examination of the country's budgetary situation and explanation of the Commission's decision not to launch the excessive deficit procedure on debt criteria - International role of the euro: results of the sectoral consultations conducted by the Commission and the analysis carried out by the ECB. - Other: implementation of the Stability and Growth Pact in the euro area; appointment process for the new President of the ECB; project to issue a common commemorative euro coin for the 35th anniversary of the Erasmus programme; presentation of the priorities of the new Finnish Presidency. *Extended training at Twenty-seven: - Deepening EMU: follow-up to the June euro area summit. - Miscellaneous.

Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council - Policy debate on the 'welfare economy', the main focus of the Finnish Presidency in the social field, following a presentation of the OECD report on this subject by the organisation's President, Angel Gurría - European Semester: approval of the recommendations concerning the National Reform Programmes for 2019, the country-by-country recommendations and adoption of the guidelines for Member States' employment policies - Climate: debate on the employment aspects of a climate-neutral economy. - Miscellaneous: international developments in the field of employment and social affairs.
Kiev (UA). Council of the EU. EU/Ukraine Summit. The presidents of the European Council, Donald Tusk, and of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, will meet the new Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy - Reaffirmation by the EU of its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine - Situation in the Azov Sea and condemnation of Russian measures guaranteeing Russian citizenship to Ukrainians living in territories not controlled by the government - Exchange of views on future priorities in EU-Ukraine relations in the implementation of the Association Agreement. - Progress in reforms in Ukraine (fight against corruption, reforms in the energy sector, administration, respect for the rule of law, etc.). - Bilateral trade and implementation of the deep and comprehensive free trade area.
