Crédit Mutuel Arkéa's appeals must be dismissed, according to Advocate General

In his findings, delivered on Tuesday 18 June (case no. T-712/15), Advocate General Giovanni Pitruzzella stated that the European Court of Justice must reject the appeal mounted by Crédit Mutuel Arkéa against the judgement delivered in December 2017 by the General Court of the European Union, which ruled that the European Central Bank (ECB) is entitled to directly supervise the Crédit Mutuel group within the framework of the banking union in the euro area (see EUROPE B11925A27).
