Committee activities (on 12/04) - LIBE: votes on draft legislative reports on the prevention of the dissemination of terrorist content online and on common standards and procedures in Member States for the return of illegally resident nationals from non-Member States (returns directive); discussion on the extension of the mandate of the EUNAVFOR Med Sophia operation - CONT/IMCO: public hearing on the fight against customs fraud (amount of fraud, best practices in combating it, customs control equipment, staff training, etc).

Brussels. European Council. Extraordinary meeting (Article 50) - Brexit: latest developments, in particular Mrs May's request to postpone the date of her country's exit from the EU to 30 June, while the President of the European Council suggests a “flexible” postponement of up to 12 months.
Bucharest. Council of the EU. Informal Meeting of Ministers for Social Affairs (also 11/04). The meeting is devoted to improving women's participation in the labour market: women's economic independence, encouraging women's participation in atypical work, the problem of gender pay gap, the working situation of women with disabilities.
