European energy ministers will meet on Tuesday 2 April in the Romanian capital to discuss the EU's future energy system, “with a view to ensuring energy transition after 2020”, explained a statement from the Romanian Ministry of Energy.
The Romanian Presidency of the EU Council hopes to use the debate to obtain some initial political guidelines with a view to the Energy Council adopting conclusions on the subject of the EU's post-2020 energy system on 25 June.
