New round of trade negotiations from 1 to 5 April

29/03/2019 (Agence Europe) – A fourth round of trade negotiations between the European Union and Chile to modernise the trade pillar of the 2002 EU-Chile Association Agreement will take place the week of 1 April in Santiago, Chile. The talks, initiated in November 2017, have made rapid progress. However, on the Chilean side, they now seem to be coming up against the issue of geographical indications, as requested by the European Commission.
