European Parliament adopts its position on terms of Erasmus programme after 2020

28/03/2019 (Agence Europe) – In a plenary vote on Thursday 28 March, the European Parliament confirmed its support for the tripling of the Erasmus budget (see EUROPE B12223A10) in the next programme period (2021-2027). The draft report by Milan Zver (EPP, Slovenia) was adopted by a large majority, with 527 votes in favour, 30 against and 48 abstentions. The future of the Erasmus programme is being discussed on two separate aspects: the budgetary amounts, in the context of the negotiations...
