Negotiators from the European Parliament and the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU reached a provisional political agreement on Thursday 28 March on the new mandate of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (ex-Frontex) following a fifth trilogue negotiation session (see EUROPE B12223A23).
