13/03/2019 (Agence Europe) – The National Ambassadors approved without discussion the draft Council conclusions on cybersecurity capacity and capabilities building in the EU. This text, which is still confidential, calls on the EU, in particular, and its Member States to take cybersecurity, where relevant, into consideration in calls for information and communication technologies procurements. It also calls on Member States to increase their investments in cybernetic capacity building. This document was approved after a silent procedure lasting several days and will be discussed at the General Affairs Council on 19 March. (SPj)
