EU calls for implementation of Peace and Reconciliation Agreement by all parties

07/02/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday evening, 6 February, the EU welcomed the Agreement on Peace and Reconciliation in the Central African Republic, signed on the same day between the government and armed groups. It immediately called for its implementation. This agreement "paves the way for a sustainable stabilisation and recovery of the country", according to a statement by the spokeswoman of the European External Action Service.
