Two Judges and an Advocate General appointed to Court and eight Judges appointed to General Court

On Wednesday 30 January, the Member States' ambassadors to the European Union (Coreper) appointed two judges and an advocate-general to the Court of Justice of the European Union and eight judges to the General Court. 

As part of the 2018 partial renewal of the composition of the Court of Justice, Christopher Vajda (United Kingdom) was reappointed as a judge until 6 October 2024, or until an earlier date corresponding to the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the EU.
