European Parliament/Council agreement on visa reform for short stays in EU

29/01/2019 (Agence Europe) – European Parliament negotiators and the Romanian Presidency of the EU Council reached an inter-institutional agreement on Tuesday 29 January on new rules on the granting of visas for short stays in the European Union. Third-country nationals subject to a visa requirement will have to pay €80 compared to €60 previously for stays in the EU of up to three months, renewable once.
