Clarification on Mr. Meleşcanu's political affiliation

11/01/2019 (Agence Europe) – Contrary to what we have written (see EUROPE 12169), the Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Meleşcanu is a member of the Liberal Party Alianța Liberalilor și Democraților (ALDE) and not of the Partidul Social Democrat. Mr. Meleşcanu was a member of the Social Democratic Party until 1997 and joined the Liberal Party in 2016. (CG)
