In-depth investigation launched into measures to benefit Ryanair and FFHG at Frankfurt-Hahn airport

On Friday 26 October, the European Commission opened an in-depth investigation to determine whether measures granted by the German Land of Rhineland-Palatinate to the Irish company Ryanair and the company Flughafengesellschaft Frankfurt-Hahn (FFHG) at the airport of Frankfurt-Hahn are compatible with EU State aid rules.
