02/10/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 2 October the European Parliament and the Council of the EU met up to continue the inter-institutional negotiations on the draft directive on accessibility to products and services. They were expected to discuss many difficult points including: - the derogation status for micro-enterprises; labelling (EC marking); - the built environment where services are provided; - access to emergency numbers; - access to transport services; - accommodation and catering ; - free service terminals. Another negotiating session during the trilogues is already planned for Thursday 8 November, with the possibility a third session planned should the negotiations have to continue.
