Electricity, hope of interinstitutional agreement in November on preparation for risks

Negotiators from the European Commission, the Council of the EU and the European Parliament held a first exchange of views on Tuesday 25 September on the draft regulation on preparation for risks in the electricity sector, and confirmed their desire to conclude the dossier before the end of the year (see EUROPE 11907). 

The first trilogue meeting on this question enabled the parties to reiterate their priorities and clarify the negotiations timeline.  The negotiators hope to reach...
