OLAF investigates possible misappropriation of European funds in connection with the distribution of food in migrant camps

26/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – On 26 September, the European Commission confirmed that it had asked the European anti-fraud office (OLAF) to verify suspicions concerning the use of European 'migration' funds in Greece, in particular funds intended for the distribution of food in camps, such as the one at Moria, which are alleged to have ended up enriching a businessman close to the authorities.
