Eurostat says EU job vacancy rate has never been so high

18/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – The job vacancy rate was 2.1% in the euro area and 2.2% in the EU28 during the second quarter of 2018 according to the latest figures published by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union on Monday 17 September.  These figures remain stable compared with the previous quarter.  These are the highest vacancy rates since the 2008 crisis, when rates were between 1% and 1.5%.
