Council adopts its position on an amending budget no. 5 for 2018

18/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 18 September, the Council of Ministers of the EU adopted without debate its position in favour of draft amending budget no. 5 to the 2018 general budget. This concerns the cancellation of the reserve in respect of aid to Turkey under the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IAP II) and the transfer of this money into emergency measures (€70 million in commitments and €35 million in payments).
