WTO talks on fisheries subsidies are intensified

18/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – During the negotiating group meeting on 17 September, the heads of delegation of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) member states expressed their resolve to engage constructively in talks on fisheries subsidies (see EUROPE 11647).  An intense work programme is planned between now and the end of December.  During the ministerial conference in Buenos Aires, in December 2017, the members agreed to adopt an agreement by the next ministerial conference in 2020,...
