Council of EU adopts minor amendments to its mandate on interoperability of information systems

On Wednesday 12 September, the Council of the EU adopted without discussion its new mandate on the interoperability of information systems.

The Council set out to adopt a revised mandate. The changes relate to amendments made by the Commission to take account of negotiations that have taken place or are still taking place on the European information systems covered by the proposal on interoperability, namely the ETIAS, SIS, eu-LISA, ECRIS-TCN and Eurodac systems, a Council source explained....
