Internet giants will have one hour to withdraw terrorist content according to new draft legislation

12/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 12 September, the European Commission published, as planned, its proposal for a regulation on withdrawing terrorist content from the internet within one hour.  This decision was taken at a time when the Commission believes the digital giants have not made the progress hoped for in the framework of self-regulation, which should contribute to citizens' security, as Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker stated on 12 September.  These new rules...
