04/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 4 September, the European Commission published the non-confidential version of its decision of 20 June of this year ordering Luxembourg to recover the amount of €120 million from the Engie group, on the grounds that the group had been awarded State aid that was incompatible with EU law (see EUROPE 12045). Readers may recall that in a press release dated 31 August, the authorities of the Grand Duchy announced that they would appeal before the General Court of the European Union against the decision (see EUROPE 12086).
