01/08/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 1 August, the European External Action Service announced that High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini is to visit Asia and Oceania from 3 to 8 August. On 3 and 4 August, she will be in Singapore to co-chair the annual post-ministerial conference between the European Union and the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN). She will represent the EU at the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) and will meet Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Mogherini will then visit the Republic of Korea on 5-6 August for meetings, including with Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon, Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha and Minister of Unification Cho Myung-gyun. She will then travel to Wellington, New Zealand on 7 August and to Sydney, Australia on 8 August. (CG)
