Commission sends Ireland to court for failing to respect maritime transport safety legislation

On Thursday 19 July, the European Commission sent Ireland to the European Court of Justice (ECJ) for failing to correctly transpose EU Directive 2009/18//EC on investigations into maritime transport accidents.
