Commission acts against 27 member states for shortcomings on recognition of professional qualifications

The Commission sent letters of formal notice on Thursday 19 July to all the member states of the European Union, with the exception of Lithuania, for failure to comply with the directives (2005/36/EC and 2013/55/EU) governing the recognition of professional qualifications.
