To be attended by Donald Tusk, Jean-Claude Juncker, Shinzo Abe, Federica Mogherini and Cecilia Malmström. – Signature of the EU/Japan economic partnership agreement and strategic partnership agreement. – Possibility of improving cooperation in security and defence matters, data protection, education, research and the fight against climate change. – International questions: Ukraine, Middle East, South China Sea, denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula, agreement on Iranian nuclear.

Budgetary situation: discussion on the budgetary situation and prospects in the Eurozone in 2019. – Ireland and Spain: presentation of the conclusions of the ninth post-programme surveillance mission of both countries. – Any other business.
  • Innsbrück (Austria). Council of the EU. Informal meeting of the justice and home affairs ministers (and 13/07). Meeting of home affairs ministers.
  • Brussels. European Parliament. Activities of the committees. -TERR: public hearing on the security of critical infrastructure and public spaces. – IMCO: public hearing on the impact and implementation of the directive of payment delays in member states.
