29/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – The British Prime Minister, Theresa May, hopes the negotiations between the United Kingdom and the Twenty-Seven will intensify once her government has agreed on its vision, in early July, on future relations between the two partners. “We'll publish a White Paper shortly. We want the negotiations to accelerate and intensify later (…). And I want to see that from the EU as well”, she said in the early hours of Friday 29 June, following a European Council that was mainly given over to the migration challenge (see other article). May, who was given a Belgian football strip by the Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel, hopes for a deal that works for both the UK and for the European Union and does not jeopardise their close cooperation in many areas, such as security.
