Council green light for definitive adoption of directive on 'proportionality test'

22/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 21 June, the member states of the EU gave their final green light to the inter-institutional agreement (see EUROPE 11986) on the directive on the proportionality test before adoption of new regulation for the professions. The agreement grants the member states more discretion in a number of areas, particularly with regard to the healthcare professions.
