Parliament approves MRV system on monitoring of CO2 emissions for new heavy duty vehicles

On Tuesday 12 June, by an overwhelming majority (612 votes to 56, with 11 abstentions), the European Parliament in Strasbourg opened the way to adoption in the EU of a monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) system for new heavy duty vehicles, the first step towards reducing CO2 emissions.
