Several member states to present their position in favour of maintaining CAP post-2020 budget to Council

On Monday 18 June, the agriculture ministers of Spain, France, Ireland, Portugal and Greece are to present, in Luxembourg, their joint declaration in favour of keeping the EU farm budget over the 2021-2027 period (see EUROPE 12032).

On Monday 11 June, this was confirmed by the delegations concerned at the Special Committee on Agriculture (SCA), which prepared the debates of the Agriculture Council on the legislative proposals relating to the future CAP.
