Parliament bans plastic bottles under its roof

12/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 11 June, the Bureau of the European Parliament decided to cease using plastic bottles in the institution after 2019. “The European Parliament will lead, not only in policies, but also by example towards curbing our plastic problem”, said Heidi Hautala, Green MEP and Vice-President of the European Parliament, in a press release.
