28/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 28 May, the Council of the European Union adopted the decision to impose a €26.82 million fine on Vienna for negligence in sending budgetary data to the European Union's statistical office, Eurostat. The fine is to sanction the attitude of the state government of Salzburg, which sent erroneous budgetary data to the Austrian state.
